The Innovation Services team has developed processes that allow you as an academic to continue with your core research and publication commitments whilst at the same time having your idea / concept fully explored for commercial potential and developed should such potential become apparent.

Following the completion of an Invention disclosure form - our team will undertake IP and market assessment either in-house or if required from external experts.

We can provide access to Proof of Principle and Proof of Concept funding

In addition we will negotiate optimal licencing terms should a third party seek to acquire rights to your intellectual property.

We will also assist in securing and/or contributing to the essential early stage investment funds required establishing and building new technology startup ventures
